“Simultaneously: One-on-One Tel Aviv and Frankfurt”, will take place in the Montefiore neighborhood in Tel Aviv and in the Hauptbahnhof neighborhood in Frankfurt. The event will feature activities from the worlds of architecture, design, art, and culture.
As part of the partner city relations between Tel Aviv and Frankfurt, an artistic collaboration will be held for the first time, connecting two historic industrial neighborhoods in both cities. The exhibition, which will take place simultaneously in the Montifiore neighborhood in Tel Aviv and in the Hauptbahnhof neighborhood in Frankfurt, will display contemporary art in industrial spaces and incorporate digital interaction between the two cities.
Participants will be able to listen to an artist talk, join guided tours, visit open studio events, view performances and artworks, stroll through a local artists’ market, and purchase food and drinks from local business, some will operate in a special pop-up format for the event.
The project is a part of the long-lasting partnership between the two cities, which has been ongoing since 1980, and aims to promote local artists and businesses in areas facing urban challenges. In Frankfurt, the event will be part of a cultural weekend focused on design ‘Into Design Festival’ led by the Urban Media Project.
