The Steinhardt Museum of Natural History at The Tel Aviv University, is the newest museum in Israel, housed in a new magnificent ‘treasure chest’ building. Located just outside the university campus in Ramat-Aviv, the building overlooks the botanical and zoological gardens. The museum offers visitors a different view of nature by presenting Israel’s national treasures of nature, selected from a scientific collection of over five and a half million items in its exhibitions. In the building there are a variety of venues for meetings, presentations, lectures and seminars – for professional and social events and conferences: a state of the art auditorium with high-end audio-visual systems, a spacious terrace overlooking view of east Tel Aviv towards Samaria Mountains, educational galleries with audio-visual systems, and more.
